Rowdy and the narrator’s relationship:

The sentence that mentions that they are best friends are ‘ but he is my best human friend and he cares about me .

The parents are both the same and the kids because it mentions ‘ I was born all broken and twisted , and he was born mad. ‘

The sentence that Mentions that Rowdy will protect him is ‘ come on , I will protect you . ‘ He knew I was afraid of getting beat up. And he also knew that he’d probably have to fight for me . Rowdy has protected me since we were born. 

They were born on the same day, the sentence is Both us were pushed into the world on November 5 , 1992 , at sacred  Heart Hospital .

The impression we get as life as a native American is that the narrator is a native American and he speaks about his life. The narrator mentions that they are badly treated and not well respected.  Also , all Native Americans are poor . The lifestyle they life in is very upsetting because they live in a Hut.

This essay is  about a novel writer called Shaun Tan. The Arrival is a book without words because the author wanted to use the images as a guide to figure out the words. Shaun Tan is a very creative artist because he creates  misery and the language gestures of the persons hands & facial expressions. This book is based on the reality of  immigration . Also, Shaun Tan’s images creates hope & real life feeling for the reader, because when the man goes to the Ellis Island , the author is relating the statue of hope to the statue of liberty in NYC . 

In my opinion ,I think that Shaun Tan is trying to tell her reader how common migration is and useful. Shaun shows this by creating light in dull pictures to show a sign of something.  The man that is leaving is taking objects which you would find in a normal house for example: origami,  clock, pan, pot, etc. The man takes his  family photo because he left his family behind to go to another destination for work and money. The reason why he took his family photo is because he would miss them and is for memory as well as thinking about them.This relates to migration because the objects the man takes is very laid out on his shelf which gives us an idea that he is leaving . Shaun Tan shows us the objects that he is taking.

Shaun Tan shows us a migration center which means it is clear that it is a center because from the people and the country flag representing them. The artist shows the quintessential migrant story by making this image similar to Ellis Island.This relates to migration because it shows the citizens from the country welcoming the migrants to their country. Also the migrants are interested in the statue like.  The light represents hope, the artist puts light behind the statue to tell us everything is going to be alright. Also , to show a sign of hope and welcoming the migrants to their new and final destination.

In addition , the other reason why this relates to migration because in the book, the centre is like the same as the real ones around the world. The migrants are really happy to reach their final destination and their new home until further notice. The reason why the migrants are travelling is because they are doing it for their family, for them to survive, and be happy. 

Shaun tan relates his novel to migration because it’s a very important thing in the world and it’s a devastating thing to hear and see because it’s upsetting the way families will probably not see each other for a long time or maybe for ever. This novel is well described by big pictures or small pictures to show the reader step by step what happens in the picture. To grab the readers attention, the illustrator uses dull colours to show hope and happiness behind the statues he drew.

Shaun tans novel are very amazing since he creates them with pictures witch is weird but fun to read. ??

On a Saturday evening, my cousin came to my house for a sleep over. He is so rude he pranks me every time so its time to get revenge. So what I done was as he was about to get in the bath,  I changed the shampoo liquid into my mum’s dark red hair dye. As my cousin was washing him self,  he reached out for the bottle and used it, he didn’t even realize I changed the liquid.  He literally poured hair dye all over him . When he got out of the bath tub,  his hair was really red. When my mum saw him,  she got angry and asked him ” How on earth did my hair dye get on your hair”. My cousin was very surprised and he said that I done it . I kept silent until further notice …??. For a second I thought I was going to get in massive trouble but I didn’t, I just explained to my mum what had happened and how it started.

So let me tell you all how i done it. So first of all my cousin was using red shampoo and i thought he was going notice but he didn’t.He was only about 1 year old at that time.As we both grew up it gradually came to an end.I was about to get in big trouble because i always get the blame for it but at that time i was so lucky.Another funny event that happened in my life was when i was 3 years old,  i was eating youghrt in my room on my blue chair and one of my leg was on the chair. i went to have a break and when i came back,  i carried on enjoying it. Out of the bloom, i some how managed to get it all around my mouth and my clothes. My mum was disappointed and she said go and get it the bath and wash yourself properly, i started crying because i thought that my mum told me of for no reason.

On the same day,  i went onto my bed and sat there for at least 15 minutes, until i was bored and asked my mum if we could go to the park or swimming because i was very bored and she said yes.When we came back,i ate another youghrt but this time, i took my time and was very careful. After that, i jumped in the bath and started splashing about with my dolphin toys and having fun . I was just waiting for my mum to come and wash me so i waited and called her and ased her to come and wash me so she did. Once all of that drama was finished it was about 7:45pm so my mum said “son its bedtime” so of i went and she read me a bedtime story until i fell asleep.

when i was 6 years old, i was sleep walking from the bedroom, to the kitchen, to the bathroom and back to the bedroom. My mum shouted “Yohanes what are you doing ?” she told me that i was marching like a soilder and that i couldn’t hear her.I couldn’t believe when she told me because i forgot about it and i started laughing for no reason.I also dropped a spoon in the kitchen and i woke my mum up,  i was eating a youghrt in the middle of the night in my sleep.In addition, i was also watching tv in  my sleep but it was boring because there was nothing fun to watch.

Dear Mr Dastagir ,

My name is Yohanes Haileyesus and I am in 7w1p. The issue I would like you to tackle is the use of mobile phones during the  school day. I think it’s an important issue because the pupils don’t concentrate and they become distracted easily when mobile phones are involved.

We shouldn’t be allowed to use our electronic devices unless we have permission from our teachers.

In the English department, we have the privilege of being able to use our electronic devices and online blogs to make it easier for our teachers to mark, edit and publish.  It’s easier for us student to do our work instead of wasting paper and writing work more than twice.

At the same time I think we should be able to use our mobile phones to look up the definitions of words if there aren’t  enough dictionaries, or  to research or look at pictures related to the work.

As I menetioned before, I think we shouldn’t be allowed to use our electronic devices because teachers might think or catch us pupils doing irrelevant and innapropriate things on the Internet. Another reason why  we shouldn’t be allowed because its part of school policy unless we  are told to bring our electronic devices. Like in English, we bring our devices because we were told we can to use our online blog on Edutronic.net.

I think Edutronic.net is a good website because its a lot easier for us kids and teachers to comment and write on. It is created by the head of English Mr.Waugh.

Therefore  its  a lot easier for staff in the English department other staff to post homework instead of wasting paper. Edutronic saves a lot of time for pupils and staff.

In addition, we shouldn’t be allowed to use our electronic devices because we might be playing games. We might be texting our friends  things in lessons and disrupting them. It doesn’t matter if they’re in the same class or not. If we text our friend in another lesson, their phone will make a notification sound and they will get in trouble for  their phones or playing with it with out permission. For example”Do you want to go to Tesco after school to buy so sweets?”

In addition,some of the boys might be texting their friends irrelevant things and might annoy them by cussing their family or culture,background. That’s why this is  a issue in school. Really In Truly, it should be delt very quickly otherwise it will escalate, and boys might not listen to the teachers and they will suffer server consequences and sanctions. For example: being put in repheral or beet Pin externally excluded etc. That’s why this is a issue in a school with high standards.

The importance of this issue is major. Otherwise the situation will get WORST. If this isn’t solved, the school standards might drop because of this specific issue. In addition, some teachers will have to change their expectations of the studenstudents.

If the school’s standards drop down, the students will tell their parents and the students will leave because of the school, and the parents apetite will change of the school, it’s most likely that some staff will leave because of the way they are being treated and the disgusting attitude they are seeing and hearing.

one afternoon, mr. Positive saw a needy , poor and homeless man asking for his help. Because Mr . Positive is so rich, he gave the homeless man over 7 million pounds so that Mr . Poor, could live in a warm environment , and provide food and drink to live. Also to get a reasonable job so he can provide money for himself . Mr. Positive also said “Because your homelss ( no offense) , and you need help going around and getting things from far distances .”For that reason, I have hired you a permanent butler and limo driver “said Mr. Positive kindly. “Also, I gave you extra money to spend on clothes souvenirs etc, so now I think you understand why people call me Mr. Positive or kind and helpful names and at least they don’t call me Jeffrey ” explained Mr. Positive .
