this momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of negro slaves who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice. This means all the people that were slaved are happy to make slavery abolished so they can  live  a normal live like the other people . Also all the negro’s are offended because the White people are slaving them.
